Initiative Overview

The Space Prize Foundation has launched a new education equity initiative in Brownsville, Texas, designed to expand access to hands-on space and STEM learning for underserved students and families.

In partnership with the Brownsville Independent School District (BISD) and the Children’s Museum of Brownsville (CMB), the initiative provides immersive learning experiences for over 500 second-grade students and 42 families from schools facing the greatest economic challenges.

Through interactive exploration and family engagement, the program connects classroom learning with the real-world space innovation happening in the Rio Grande Valley.
